Special Daze!
There were “No-journing” Sunrisers at our March 16th meeting – everyone stayed local to help put on the fundraiser! And we’ll have to wait at least another week to find out how Ed and Beth Christians spent their anniversary on March 3rd, but we did hear from celebrants Tami Camper, whose birthday was March 4th, and Craig Newman (March 5th). Three Special Daze in a row!!
Thank you!!
President Dustin thanked the members of the Spring Fundraiser Committee for their great job putting together “An Evening Out West” the previous weekend. We all appreciate the long hours and effort put forth on behalf of our Club and our Community!
We Love Rotaract!
In honor of World Rotaract Day (March 13), RCAS heard from members of both local Clubs – Lost Coast Rotaract and North Bay Rotaract!
Izzy’s Week
Izzy Orsach joined other Rotary Exchange Students for a trip to Hawaii! She told our Club about it at our March 16, 2018 meeting.
An Update on the Humboldt Bay Trail
Our Featured Speaker was Hank Seemann, the Deputy Director for Humboldt County’s Environmental Services Division. He last visited us in October 2016, when he spoke about new developments regarding the Humboldt Bay Trail. In this update, Hank discusses the timeline for completing the most difficult stretches of the trail.
