Finn’s Travelogue

Exchange Student Finn Grewe visited New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C. with several of his fellow Rotary Exchange Students.
The group took in the sites, including many historic sites, but their plan to visit the White House was thwarted. Still, it was a great experience for Finn, even though his return entailed some delays.

Rotarian of the Week

President Ray’s Rotarian of the Week is someone who shows up for every Sunrise Rotary function. As this Rotarian says in the clip, “It’s a participation organization.”
Craig Newman has served our Club as its President and as Club Secretary. And he’s always there do to what is needed.

Thank you, Craig, for everything you do!

Promoting Local Products

Alanna Powell was our Featured Speaker. She is the Executive Director of Humboldt Made – a marketing organization that promotes locally produced goods, both here and nationally.
The group’s mission is to support the economy of the Redwood Coast by helping local businesses reach wider markets. To achieve this, they leverage connections, networking, collaborations, and promotions..
