Several Sunrisers sojourned over the holidays, including Terri Clark, Tami Camper, Bob Johnson, Cam Appleton, Chris Hemphill, and El Presidente himself – Dustin Littlefield!
Special Daze & Recognition
We celebrated the birthdays of Tom Tellez, Ed Christians, Dick Johnson, and Cam Appleton. Then, we recognized the always amazing Laura Montagna!
Paul Harris Fellows
Foundation Chair Terri Clark led us in celebrating our newest Paul Harris Fellow – Tomas Chavez! We also applauded Ed Christians and Chris Hemphill for going the extra mile (and more), as they became bejeweled as multiple Paul Harris Fellows!
Izzy’s Week … and then some!
Isabella (Izzy) Orasch, our Rotary Exchange Student from Austria, told us about her holiday break (yay!), then about Finals (Hmm …).

Jeff Dolf Talks About His Dual Role
Jeff Dolf is the Agricultural Commissioner for Humboldt County, and he also serves as the County’s Sealer of Weights and Measures. At our meeting on January 5, 2018, Jeff told us about his dual role, and he discussed how those roles are evolving in the new era of legal cannabis sales and use.
“I’ve got the whole meeting in my head!”
