Dustin Brings the R”u”CAS

The 26th RCAS President, Dustin Littlefield, led the first meeting of his year last Friday. In the following video, he tells us the plan for the coming year, including his three areas of focus: Fellowship, Visuality, and Service.

[Editor’s Note: R”u”CAS is pronounced ruckus.]

Sunrisers In Atlanta

President Dustin and several other Sunrisers attended last month’s Rotary International Convention in Atlanta, Georgia. Terri Clark, Ashliegh Diehl, and others share their experiences.

Special Daze

Check out the video below to learn what Praj White did on his birthday/Father’s Day weekend. We also hear from Lisa Hemphill, and Janice Newman. (Did Janice finish that Birthmonth, or is she extending it to other parts of the calendar?)

The Youth Exchange Report

Judy made it safely to Taiwan (her other home), and Steve McHaney provided some thoughts about her stay in Arcata – which included two stints with his family! Tami Camper then told us how easygoing Judy was, before reminding us that we will soon be greeting Isabella from Austria.
This could get confusing, because our Outbound Student is also named Isabella! (Fortunately, she also goes by Bella.) She will be heading for Denmark soon, and she provided a brief presentation about her soon-to-be host country.

Finally!

Rachel Mae Damme is our newest Sunriser, but she is very well known at our Club. While a member and Past President of the North Bay Rotaract Club, she found time and boundless energy to help us with our fundraisers and events, and she attended many of RCAS meetings.

We are thrilled to have Rachel as a member of our Club!
