Prologue

Former President Bob Johnson explains why the debunking process is necessary to an orderly transition of power.

Part 1: Dress for Success?

Everyone knows how important it is to dress for your position. In this segment, Former President Jessica McKnight provides President Dustin with special attire.

Part 2: Familiar Voices

Dustin finds himself hearing voices from his past, and those voices had a lot of inside information!

(A special thank you to Dustin’s mother and stepfather – Kathy and Don Gaston!)

Part 3: The Dark Knight’s Roomie!

In Part 3, President Dustin receives new footwear appropriate for a Dark Knight. We then heard from his Chico roommate.

(Thanks here to Sunriser Jennifer Coriell!)

Part 4: Two Degrees of Dustin

This segment covers Dustin’s short stay at Butte Community College, and his triumphant return to Humboldt, where he earned a degree in Economics.
A voice from his past (Rachel Damme) told us about his first post-graduate position, where he made bold, sweeping decisions – about wine?

Interlude: Now What?

As noted above, what you wear reflects who you are. Jessica McKnight was once again at the ready to help Dustin’s sartorial transition from college student to the professional world.

Part 5: Financial Services Above Self

During a discussion of Dustin’s entry into the world of high finance, Ceva Courtemanche had a few questions for him about the proceeds from the Spring Fundraiser.

Part 6: Your Rotarian Life

Part 6 covers Dustin becoming a Rotarian, and it features an award presented by Former President Barbara Browning. Former President and 2017-2018 Assistant District Governor Lori Breyer read some of the fan mail Dustin received from his fellow President-Elect Training Seminar attendees. (And why hadn’t I heard of the Rotary Club of Long Legs before now?)

Part 7: “Real” Estate Test

This segment describes Dustin’s recent transition to his current position at Coldwell Banker Sellers Realty. With Dustin’s potentially flammable license in hand, Coldwell Banker head Greg Anderson quizzed him on some important real estate topics. He had competition, however. Fellow Realtors – co-worker Bryn Coriell and Sunriser Mark Burtchett – also had their buzzers at the ready.

Part 8: Sunrisin’ With Dustin the Prez

It is a long-standing RCAS debunking tradition that we serenade the departing Club President with a song (or songs). As usual, Former President Dick Johnson provided the tunes – a medley of Sunrisin’ and Dustin the Prez (based on the songs Free Fallin’ and Dust in the Wind).

Finale: It’s A Wrap!

The curtain closes on “This Is Your Life, President Dustin” with a voice from his future – New RCAS President Ray Noggle! The orderly transition of power is conducted via the exchange of the Presidential Pin, and the Club gives now Past President Dustin a well-deserved standing ovation!!

Thank you so much, President Dustin!!

“It’s been a good year, here in Arcata …”

“I’ve got the whole debunking in my head!”
